4 Spicy Romances for your next late night read

I think that we can all agree that there’s nothing better than a good romance novel or series. I love the fuzzy feelings that I get when the banter between characters gets good or when they share their first kiss. That’s why I’m here to share with you 5 killer romance books that are sure to get your blood boiling!

1. The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Stars)

In an attempt to fool her best friend, Olive kisses the first guy she can get her hands on. Unfortunately, that first guy is Adam, the department grouch. As Olive works desperately to convince their friends and colleagues that her relationship with Adam is real, she must also come to terms with her growing feelings towards her fake boyfriend and his feelings towards her. As their relationship develops, Olive realizes that not everyone is as they seem.

I couldn’t put this book down. My eyes were literally glued to the pages as I consumed every word. I fell in love with the characters almost immediately. Who doesn’t love a tall, dark, and handsome man, even if he is a little bit grouchy? If you love a strong, independent woman and a man who is soft only for her, you will love this book!

2. The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas (⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Stars)

Desperate for a date to her sister’s wedding, Catalina reluctantly agrees to bring her coworker and sworn enemy, Aaron. It seems to her that it will be impossible to convince her family that the two of them have been going steady for a while. As they try to act genuine, they find out that maybe they don’t hate each other as much as they thought they did.

I know, another fake dating trope? Can you tell I have a type? Catalina’s family in this book reminded me so much of my own, I really felt like I could connect to what was happening to her and Adam. The overbearing family trope is one that I will always be able to relate to. It was a comforting read, and I think you would really enjoy it if you like the fake wedding date trope.

3. It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover (⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Stars)

Lily Bloom has never had much luck with love. Her first real boyfriend was a homeless guy. Then she meets Ryle. He seems perfect for her, and a fast relationship blooms. After they get married, Lily realizes that Ryle isn’t the sweet guy she thought he was. After this realization and throughout the rest of the book, Lily struggles with her abusive husband and has to decide if her love is enough to keep them together.

This book broke me. It was absolutely heart wrenching in all of the right ways. I picked it up expecting it to be another cheesy love story that I could lose myself in and instead was rocked by some tough truths about the realities of abuse. I could not recommend this book enough to people who are either going through abuse, or are close to someone going through abuse.

4. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Stars)

There is a wall separating the humans and the Faeries. Feyre, a human woman hunting to support her destitute family, kills a Faerie disguised as a giant wolf. Another Faerie, Tamlin, comes to collect the life debt owed to him. While Feyre is held in the Spring Court, she finds that perhaps she could grow to like, or even love the Fae male who stole her away from her family.

This thrilling Beauty and the Beast retelling stole my heart from page one. I could go on and on about the world that Sarah J. Maas built or the characters that I absolutely fell in love with immediately. Everything feels so real and it’s so easy to relate to everyone. As this series goes on, it only gets better.
